The Hart School of Scottish Highland Dance

For over 30 years Kitty has been teaching Highland Dance with her mother, Florence Hart, through the Hart School of Scottish Highland Dance. Together, Kitty and Florence continue their tradition of excellence in Scottish Highland dance, currently teaching at their Saint Paul, MN studio.

Alma_Kitty_Kelly_Katie_Elise_1.18672732_stdBoth Florence and Kitty are SOBDH-certified teachers and adjudicators. Kitty is a former World Champion in Scotland and has multiple National Championships. Florence was herself a competitive dancer and a recent member of the FUSTA Hall of Fame. Together, their partnership has developed many successful National and World Champion dancers in Scotland, Canada and the United States.

You do not need to be Scottish to reap the enjoyment and benefits of Highland Dancing! Highland dancing is an aerobic sport which builds poise, balance and has a positive impact on building self confidence! In addition, the friendships built and acquaintances made while engaging in the Highland Dance community can easily last a lifetime!
